Siberia V1 & V2 headset reviews

I will soon be posting up more reviews, but in the mean time heres a comparison between the Siberia V1 & V2:

They are both extremely similar in appearance, and even price - So this made me want to look deep into the tech specs to see the difference.

Fitted out with larger speaker drivers - 50mm (25% larger than the V1's) and with nicer, more sound insulating padding it becomes quickly apparent that the V2's are no radical change on the V1's. They are just refined.

Another nice touch with the V2's is the integrated mic which you can slide out of the left ear cup, meaning less wires to tangle and its always there when you need it.

It became quickly apparent to me, especially when hearing the sound difference due to the bigger drivers and better noise insulation, that the V2's were better on all fronts.

SteelSeries aren't asking for a premium for this updated pair either, with both headsets available online for around £50-£60. If you're a gamer and value your sound quality without paying too much, its clear which pair to go for.
